A large number of people hold the opinion that pornography animes do harm to children’s mantel health. In light of this, they insist that the authorities should clamp down on these animes producers. For my part, I completely disagree with their viewpoint.

In the first place, these animes are helpful to children’s sex education. No one can stop one’s children from growing up, so it’s necessary for every child to know about sex. However, for various reasons parents and teachers, especially in some not so developed societies, are not willing to teach their pupils anything involved with this special facet of human nature. On the other hand, Children are usually interested in animes including erotic ones. Therefore, such animes play an important role in sex education. As for boys and girls live in developed countries, these cartoons also provide them with harmless vivid materials.

Secondly, entertainment is a key matter to the maintenance of a sound mind. A survey shows that nowadays students carry such a heavy burden of study that they are very vulnerable to both physical and psychological diseases. It was the erotic anime that can save our young students. By watching one or two episodes of an erotic anime, such as Kanokon or Toloveru, a child can have his body relaxed and mind inspired.

The last but not the least, these so-called erotic animes are not really pornographic but feminist. Take Kanokon for example, its heroine Chizuru is a physically attractive high school girl who loves a boy called Kouta in the same school. The whole story is centered on her constant pursuit of happiness and the anime songs high praise for Chizuru’s independence and boldness. So, Kanokon is actually a feminist work.

In conclusion, these so-called erotic animes shown on TV, in fact, have positive effects on children’s mental development and the publication of them is a reflection of modern feminist movement.

My second reason is that wrong ideas may become deeply rooted in children’s mind if they enjoy too much such animes. Most erotic animes are male-friendly. In those animes, it is a notorious stereotype that the hero is so excellent that every female character wants to join his harem. After watching a lot of such programs the extremely wrong idea that men are superior to women will be taken for granted. This will no doubt ruins the precious fruits of the centuries’ feminist movement.

From the above discussion, we can easily conclude that erotic animes shown on TV is about to disorder our children’s mental development and, furthermore, attempt to set up an obvious unconstitutional ideology. So, in my point of view, drastic measures should be taken into practice to abolish these dangerous animes.
